COMMENTARY: Flashback to January 2012. Broncos loose at home to the Baltimore Ravens in a rough and tumble AFC Divisional Playoff game; final score, 35-38.

The Broncos defense fared much better in 2012 as they ranked 4th in the NFL.

The Broncos powerhouse defenders included a mix of well-disciplined players that were on top of their game in 2012. Fast forward to the 2103 season, the Broncos defense have given up a large amount of points, keeping scores much too close for comfort.

A baptism under fire Nick Foles would soon experience and learn that his Pac-10 days as an Arizona collegiate QB had little relation on how well he could perform in the NFL during his 2012 fill-in campaign.
