NFL Week 9 Hot Finger Louie Pro Predictions

The Colts and Chargers are two power house teams coming off a bye week and the Chicago Bears hope to remain above 500. The Bears have deep rooted problems on offense due to Jay Cutler falling prey to a groin tear injury in week 7.

Joe Flacco is far from having an MVP season and he is not in-tune with his wide receiver play makers. The Baltimore Ravens are not the Cinderella team of 2013, nor have the Texans or Titans played up to their preseason hype potential.

The Broncos and 49ers are two teams who welcome a mid-season bye week, and this rest period will give both teams the resilience required to contend in week 10. The bye week for the Lions ushers in a opportunity to be fresh for their week 10 outing. With only a few seconds left in the fourth quarter - Matthew Stafford scored a touchdown that would give the Lions a one point victory over a decimated Cowboys team. Another heartbreaking loss for Tony Romo.

The Cardinals bye week helps its players rest up for a chance to make a run for a playoff spot in the NFC West. The Giants and Jaguars have no chance whatsoever to make a playoff appearance in 2013.

Cincinnati Bengals 28 – Miami Dolphins 21
The Bengals are on a roll and Andy Dalton is finding exciting ways to help his team be king of the hill in the AFC North.

Kansas City Chiefs 35 – Buffalo Bills 19
Coach Andy Reid and Alex Smith have been a good mix in their can do win attitude and this spells doom for a Buffalo Bills team holding a losing hand in week 9.

San Diego Chargers 31 – Washington Redskins 23
This is a game the Chargers need to win - as they fight to stay 2 games above 500.

Minnesota Vikings 24 – Dallas Cowboys 28
A must need win the Cowboys must have to remain favorites in the lethargic NFC East.

Tennessee Titans 19 – St. Louis Rams 23
The woeful Rams find a way to pull off a victory over a disappointing Titans team.

Atlanta Falcons 19 – Carolina Panthers 31
Cam Newton is finally getting into a good grove with his receiving core, and as the Panthers put together a 3-game winning streak, this will be a game they will dominate.

New Orleans Saints 38 – New York Jets 23
Between the Saints offense fire power and their stout defense, the Jets don’t stand a chance to get over the 500 mark.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers 17 – Seattle Seahawks 35
Russell Wilson will produce more touchdowns this week and will help fantasy players make up for last weeks disappointing point difference.

Philadelphia Eagles 23 – Oakland Raiders 21
One more win may help the Eagles inch their way back to a possible wild card spot in the NFC East.

Pittsburgh Steelers 20 – New England Patriots 27
Tom Brady exudes leadership on offense and this will become a contagious recipe that will help the Patriots defeat a dead in the water Pittsburgh team.

Baltimore Ravens 23 – Cleveland Browns 17
A much needed win against a depleted Cleveland Browns team helps the Ravens get back to 500 in the AFC North.

Indianapolis Colts 35 – Houston Texans 17
Andrew Luck becomes the ultimate game manager to help his Colts defeat the Houston Texans in a no comprende contest.

Chicago Bears 19 – Green Bay Packers 35
Aaron Rodgers is having another Pro Bowl season and his leadership on the field will lead his team to another impressive win over their division rival. Defensive Coordinator Dom Capers has put together an impressive 4 game winning streak for his Packers defense and this means double trouble for a depleted Bears offense.

NFL Week 8 NFC West Power Rankings: Which Team will be Best of the Best in the NFC West?

The hot talk amidst the NFL is that the Seattle Seahawks are the best well rounded team on offense and defense.

The Seahawks first loss of the season came by the hands of the Indianapolis Colts. The Seahawks and the Colts were evenly matched-up on both sides of the ball, but the Colts had the upper hand in their week one 34-24 victory.

Several key wins have help move Andrew Luck up a notch or two in the QB power rankings category.

Will the Seahawks remain best of the best when week 8 comes to a close in the NFC West?

The 49ers have got their so called swagger back by trouncing on the neck of the Tennessee Titans alter ego in week 7. The 49ers were tested in week 2 and 3 when they felt prey to the Seahawks and Colts – losing both games by 20 or more points.

Are the 49ers the best of the best in the NFC West?

The Rams and the Cardinals are in similar territory relating to what's left of their 2013 scarce run for wins. Neither team has proven they can consistently win big games, part of this is due to injuries that have hampered their efforts to compete in the NFC Western Division.

NFL Week 8 NFC South Power Rankings: Which Team will be “Top Gun” or a Flight Risk?

The Saints come off a bye-week and are ready to regain their dominance in the NFC Southern Division. A struggling Buffalo team on offense equals to a big plus for the rough and tough Saints defense. The Buffalo Bills defense has had their share of problems with costly penalties that has kept their team in limbo.

Drew Brees is having another Pro Bowl year and he is right on the heels of Peyton Manning in the yardage category.

Will Drew Brees make it a “Top Gun” game and make the Buffalo Bills be deemed a flight risk on their trip back home?

Cam Newton has taken giant steps in his quarterback decision making during the past three weeks, and his ability to read the field more precisely helped the Panthers get back to 500 in their week 7 win over a struggling Rams team.

Are the Carolina Panthers capable of becoming a “Top Gun” juggernaut in week 8?

Tony Gonzalez may perhaps have second thoughts on his decision to return to the Falcons lineup in 2013 due to their unflattering 2-4 record. It has been a disappointing and dismal 2013 season so far - for a Falcons team that has been a flight risk on all levels of their game.

Is it possible that the Atlanta Falcons veteran leadership on both sides of the ball can possibly help turn around their dismal 2013 NFL campaign?

Basically, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers are not playing good football. This was supposed to be the year that the Buccaneers were touted as having a winning season, but their prediction has turned sour and their 2013 season is “Sittin’ on the Dock of the Bay.”

NFL Week 8 NFC North Power Rankings: Which Team will be Chicken Dinner Winners?

The Pack is back and Aaron Rodgers has digested and assimilated the criticism about beginning the season playing dysfunctional football.

Aaron Rodgers experience and QB skill set is what helped move the Packers to a first place slot in the competitive NFC Northern Division.

The Packers were once at the bottom of the NFC pack, but their battle tested resilience in winning 3 consecutive games brought them back from the brink of no return. Two costly loses early in the season put the Packers NFC power rankings credibility in jeopardy.

Only the Packers had the real stuff to pull off consecutive victories to regain their dominance in the NFC Northern Division.

Can the Minnesota Vikings pull off a miracle win against a Packers team on the rise – favorite in several NFL categories?

The Bears bye-week is an excruciating reminder on how losing Jay Cutler may spell doom for the Bears 2013 NFL campaign.

Can the Lions hog tie the Cowboys and win a Texas style chicken dinner?

Can the Vikings muster up courage under fire and play error free football to win 4 more games in the 2013 season, or will they end up being week 8 chicken dinner losers?

Is it time for Adrian Peterson to end his contract with the Vikings and choose greener pastures?

Which team would be the best fit for Adrian Peterson in 2014?

NFL Week 8 NFC East Power Rankings: Which Big Time Playas’ Will Eat Crow?

The Cowboys remain number one in the NFC East, but the drama continues to unfold for the Cowboys as they battle to establish their ghost like identity in week 8. Tony Romo will continue to receive damming criticism from Dallas fans, the NFL community, and his peers on his fourth quarter antics.

Can the Cowboys stop the bleeding and capture a victory in week 8?

Will the Detroit Lions make owner Jerry Jones eat crow?

Matthew Stafford took his lumps in week 7 against a nasty Bengals defense, but that beat down may help him be a big time playa’ in week 8 – “the nightmare before Halloween.”

Coach Chip Kelly has been under fire with Philly fans for his play book schemes that have seemed to run out of steam. Rookie head coach Chip Kelly will soon come to find “the city of brotherly love” has little tolerance on having to live through another losing season.

RG3 second season has been a bumpy one filled with up and down feel good moments. The road for RG3 does not get any easier as he faces one of his most formidable opponents in the Denver Broncos in week 8.

Does RG3 have the skills to make the Denver Broncos eat crow in a supposed lopsided week 8 matchup?

Will the Giants defense make Michael Vick eat crow, or will the Eagles defense make it a very long day for Eli Manning?

NFL Week 8 AFC West Power Rankings: Which Team Is Movin’ Like a Ninja?

The Kansas City Chiefs are a team on a mission and Coach Andy Reid has literally come back from the dead to resurrect his passion for the game of pro football. I have mentioned many times in several of my articles posted on Blogger that Alex Smith is a game manager. Alex Smith contagious energy has translated into a perfect season thus far.

Coach Andy Reid has overcome personal tragedy and managed to turn it into a successful prescription in his first year as head coach of the Kansas City Chiefs.

Eat crow Philadelphia, Coach Andy Reid was once criticized in Philly for his play calling schemes, but now his play book is leading the Chiefs to an impressive 2013 season.

Will the Chiefs continue to move like a ninja, and remain undefeated in 2013?

Peyton Manning played a brilliant game in the fourth quarter against his former team in week 7. Even though the Broncos remain one game behind the Chiefs, a good number of fantasy polls have Peyton Manning way ahead of Alex Smith in the QB power ranking category.

A bye-week for the Chargers is a good time for Phillip Rivers to recharge his offensive play-making skills. The chargers are a dangerous team despite a sluggish start of the 2013 season.

Do the Chargers have the offensive fire power to move like a ninja in week 9?

Don’t feel sorry for the Raiders, “they are who we thought they were.”

NFL Week 8 AFC South Power Rankings: Chitlin Losers or Barbeque Winners

The Colts managed a questionable win against the Broncos in week 7, but the final score reflects a most positive possibility that the Colts 5-2 record is no fluke.

The Colts, Titans and Texans rest period comes on a bye-week, and the Titans need to regroup if they are going to get back to 500 in the AFC South. The Texans season is quietly slipping into oblivion and their 2-5 record suggests that their struggles on offense and defense will continue for the remainder of the 2013 season.

Can the Jacksonville Jaguars muster up any fantasy points or real time points in their matchup against a superior San Francisco 49ers team?

Colin Kaepernick and the 49ers are approaching the mid-season in ostentatious fashion, and the 49ers will be deemed Barbecue winners in week 8, unless the Jaguars pull off a miracle win.

The 49ers may post the third most fantasy points in week 8 above all other NFL teams.

NFL Week 8 AFC North Power Rankings: Will It Be a Head Bangers Ball in the AFC North?

The Bengals remain at the top of the AFC North in a division that is still up for grabs. The Bengals face the Jets in what is sure to be a head bangers ball game. The Bengals continued success rest on the shoulders of Andy Dalton to keep playing error free football.

This contest will be an evenly matched showdown, but can A.J. Green be a game changer that may possibly knock out the Jets from moving into a second slot position in the AFC North?

The Cleveland Browns have lost some heart breaking games due to undisciplined players making dumb mistakes and mounting penalties on defense, which in turn reflect upon their 3-4 record.

The Chiefs do not have a high powered air attack in Alex Smith, but what they do have in Smith is a game manager who keeps winning big games. Despite battling surmountable odds in the rough and tumble AFC Western Division, the Chiefs remain favorites to win it all this year.

Can the Cleveland Browns dethrone the Chiefs in a head bangers ball that could turn out to be an attention-grabbing game?

The 3-4 struggling Ravens have a bye-week, and this may be just what the doctor ordered for a team that has lost some of its mojo.

The irony of the Pittsburgh Steelers 2013 season has been filled with unbridled excuses about how they are playin’ like a tortoise trying to find its way to the Promised Land.

Does Big Ben Roethlisberger still have the tools to help his team defeat the lowly Oakland Raiders?

Can the Pittsburgh Steelers claw their way back to 500 in the ship wrecked AFC North?

NFL Week 8 AFC East Power Rankings: Which Team will be Studs or Duds?

Coach Rex Ryan of the New York Jets has developed a proven formula on how to defeat the New England Patriots this season. Although the Jets are dead even in the win category against the Patriots, their overtime win in week 7 was a feel good moment for a team that desperately needed another win to stay above 500 in the torrid AFC East.

The Jets remain one game behind the Patriots and Rex Ryan is no longer on the hot seat.

As a result of drumming up a winning game plan that overpowered the Patriots in a gritty overtime win, the Jets gain new life going into their week 8 matchup against the Bengals.

Each and every Jets fan would rather forget the 2012 NFL season, recalling when the Jets only won 6 games. Does Gino Smith have enough fire power to compete against a stout Bengals defense, or will Gino Smith and the Jets be a dud going into a week 9 matchup against the New Orleans Saints?

The Patriots receivers are still struggling to find their identity this season and Tom Brady is not having the season he hoped he would have – due to growing pains of Danny Amendola and Aaron Dobson.

Tom Brady faces a “Dr Jekyll and Mr. Hyde” Miami defense. Can Tight End Rob Gronkowski be an effective X-Factor in Tom Brady’s air attack?

Will the Patriots defense be able to keep up with an evolving Miami ground attack?

A struggling Buffalo Bills defense is at a standstill trying to find their identity, this does not fare well as they face the high powered offense of the New Orleans Saints.

Can the Bills cover the point spread as fantasy duds, or will the Saints run up the fantasy point score, 40-0?

Week 7 NFL Hot Pick Predictions

As NFL fans gear up for week 7, the second half of the season is right around the corner. There are a few NFL teams that are in desperate need of another win to stay above 500. The Raiders and the Saints both have this week off and that means trouble for the Saints next opponent, but the Raiders may not fare as well in their next match up.

Seattle Seahawks 31 – Arizona Cardinals 17
Russell Wilson, in his second year is still in a learning mode, but he is steadily improving with each game he plays and this means trouble for an unpredictable Arizona defense. The Seahawks D will make it a long night for Carson Palmer.

New England Patriots 28 – New York Jets 19
Tom Brady keeps finding ways to win close games, and the Pats D is playing consistent power football. Inexperience will hurt Gino Smith as he has to face Coach Bill Belichick's unforgiving defense.

St. Louis Rams 26 – Carolina Panthers 31
Cam Newton is starting to click on all cylinders at the right time and playing error free football will help the Panthers get back to 500.

Chicago Bears 23 – Washington Redskins 20
Is this the year Jay Cutler finally gets the proverbial monkey off his back? RG3 will make it a close game, but a costly interception will make it a heartbreaking loss for the Redskins.

Cincinnati Bengals 28 – Detroit Lions 31
Two evenly matched teams pair up for what is to be a battle royal. Matthew Stafford has matured at his position and he is beginning to play smart great football. The Lions key receivers are clicking at the right time. This win will help keep the Lions remain even in the NFC North.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers 17 – Atlanta Falcons 28
The Atlanta Falcons will win a game against the disintegrating Buccaneers that will mean nothing until they prove they can win the big one.

Dallas Cowboys 31 – Philadelphia Eagles 27
Tony Romo and the Dallas defense are hungry for another win, and this means trouble for Nick Foles and the Birds

Buffalo Bills 21 – Miami Dolphins 28
One more win for the Dolphins keep them on the heels of the Patriots in a competitive race in the AFC East.

San Diego Chargers 35 – Jacksonville Jaguars 14
Phillip Rivers deals a knockout blow to a depleted, awful Jacksonville Jaguars team.

San Francisco 49ers 31 – Tennessee Titans 23
Colin Kaepernick has taken some heat lately for not winning more fantasy points, but all-in-all, with each game Kaepernick plays - he is becoming a great game manager.

Cleveland Browns 27 – Green Bay Packers 35
Aaron Rodgers will not be denied in week 7..,-enough said.

Baltimore Ravens 27 – Pittsburgh Steelers 20
Both of these teams are familiar with each others respective game plans. This will be a knock down slug fest. Joe Flacco plays almost error-free football to gain a victory over a still struggling Pittsburgh team.

Houston Texans 13 – Kansas City Chiefs 31
Another win places the Kansas City Chiefs neck and neck with the Broncos in the AFC West.

Denver Broncos 42 – Indianapolis Colts 31
GAME OF THE WEEK. Peyton Manning returns to his old stomping ground, and Andrew Luck faces his new rival. This game will be a battle on both fronts, and Peyton Manning has quietly awaited this match up, even if he will not admit this to be true. The Colts former signal caller will dish out a little payback to Colts owner Jim Irsay by defeating his former team in a place he once called home.

Minnesota Vikings 23 – New York Giants 28
The Giants finally get their first win of the season due to the Eli Manning’s patience in the pocket. “Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde", Manning will help his Giants get a feel good win for the G-Men fans everywhere.

Week 6 NFL Hot Finger Louie Top Pick Predictions

Is Eli Manning a Giant Killer, or are the New York Giants just that bad? Despite the Giants team as a whole not playing productive football, Eli Manning is leading the league in Attempts-229 to be precise, and he has thrown for 1,721 yards. The Giants recent loss to the Bears in week 5 places them dead last in the NFC East.

St. Louis Rams 27 – Houston Texans 23
Interception troubles in week 5 sum up bad news for Matt Schaub in week 6. The Rams D is hungry for a definitive win to help them get back to 500.

Cincinnati Bengals 22 – Buffalo Bills 17
One more win in week 6 will help the Bengals stay on top of the torrid AFC North.

Oakland Raiders 19 – Kansas City Chiefs 28
Head Coach Andy Reid has found new life in Kansas City, and QB Alex Smith is leading his team in mistake free football. The Chiefs are the sleeper team this season, and each win places them one step closer to a playoff contention birth.

Detroit Lions 28 – Cleveland Browns 21
Two powerhouse defenses duke it out in what is to be a slug-fest. Matthew Stafford game management will help the Lions keep one step ahead of the Packers in the NFC North.

Pittsburgh Steelers 17 – New York Jets 24
Gino Smith is getting better with each game he plays, and his decision making will help him overcome the mad rush of the angry Pittsburgh defense.

Philadelphia Eagles 28 – Tampa Bay Buccaneers 13
It may be a game time decision if Michael Vick plays in week 6, but his back-up Nick Foles is a security blanket just in case Vick does not suit up against the Buccaneers.

Carolina Panthers 21 - Minnesota Vikings 35
Due to the untimely death of his 2 year old son, Adrian Peterson will suit up to play against the 1-3 Panthers. Both of these disappointing fantasy teams have something to prove in week 6. This will be an emotional game for Adrian Peterson and his Vikings team, with that being said, a victory may help turn around the Vikings dismal season.

Green Bay Packers 31 – Baltimore Ravens 28
The Packers defense may not be able to shut down Joe Flacco’s air attack, but Aaron Rodgers is seeking redemption for the Packers two ugly loses in week 1 and 2.

Jacksonville Jaguars 17 – Denver Broncos 48
The high powered offense of the Denver Broncos with Peyton Manning at the helm is on a record breaking streak this season. With the addition of a running game, and a defense that gets back Champ Bailey in week 6, this is a no contest - that is too much for the Jaguars to handle.

Tennessee Titans 31 – Seattle Seahawks 30
The Titans D has studied the film on Russell Wilson playmaking abilities, and the battle in the trenches will prove too much for the second year QB to handle.

Arizona Cardinals 24 – San Francisco 49ers 27
Colin Kaepernick will to manage the game much more efficient than he has in his last two outings.

New Orleans Saints 38 – New England Patriots 17
Drew Brees is playing lights out football again in 2013; Brees is right on the footsteps of Peyton Manning in several QB statistics. The Pats D will have their hands full in their efforts to contain the Saints high powered offense, even though Brady gets back two of his key receivers, the Saints will prove their dominance over a struggling Pats team.

Washington Redskins 22 – Dallas Cowboys 35
A disappointing loss to the Denver Broncos in week 5 force Tony Romo game management skills to the limit in his week 6 matchup against the Redskins. The return of Miles Austin will be an added plus to help the Cowboys get back to 500.

Indianapolis Colts 31 – San Diego Chargers 27
This Monday Night Football showdown will be a thriller on both sides of the ball, but the standout player of the evening will be Andrew Luck. Luck has become a fourth quarter game manager, very similar to Peyton Manning fourth quarter theatrics while he played in Indy. The Colts D is rising up in the ranks, and this proves to be a fatal blow for Phillip Rivers and his key receivers.

NFL Week 5 Hot Finger Louie Top Prediction Picks

Week 5 of the NFL comes with a variety of top-notch teams that are 5-0, and several notable players are on the hot seat once again, in addition to that – several QB’s are seeking greener pastures. It has been a power packed start to the 2013 NFL season. This 2013 season has been filled with drama, misery, and speculations. Several star veteran players are on the verge of breaking a few cherished NFL records that have stood the test of time.

Buffalo Bills 24 – Cleveland Browns 27
Two teams fighting to stay above 500. Fantasy Leagues have the Browns as favorites due to the Bills QB situation.

Detroit Lions 28 – Green Bay Packers 33
The Packers are well rested coming off of a bye-week. This matchup is going to be a rough and tough game, as well as it will be a test of will for the Packers going against a shut down Lions defense. Aaron Rodgers needs to play a picture perfect game. Matthew Stafford will have to deal with a Packers defense that is mad and disgusted on how they let two games be decided by close scores.

Philadelphia Eagles 27 – New York Giants 19
The problems of the Giants offensive and defensive troubles rear their ugly head, and it will not get any better for the defending Super Bowl Champs in this week 5 matchup. Eli Manning has gotten off to a slow in each of his 4 games. The Eagles 111 yards allowed are the most in the NFL. This is a must win game for the Eagles, and a victory would help them share the division – especially if Dallas falls to the Broncos.

Kansas City Chiefs 30 – Tennessee Titans 27
There are no apparent weaknesses on offense or defense that neither team can expose to gain a win in this week 5 ferocious matchup. Alex Smith is quietly putting up a Pro Bowl season, and his leadership can be felt on the field - which translates to a perfect season thus far.

New Orleans Saints 38 – Chicago Bears 28
The Saints with Drew Brees at the helm are playing lights out football once again, and their 2013 4-0 start is no fluke. There is only one other NFL teams that previous 0-4 start of the season gone on to play in the playoffs. The Bears last week beat down loss to the Detroit Lions - made devout critics of Jay Cutler question his skill to win big games.

Baltimore Ravens 24 – Miami Dolphins 27
The Super Bowl champs are struggling both on offense and defense, and it has become quite evident that the retirement of Ray Lewis and the Ed Reed trade has made a negative impact in the win category. The Miami O and their D will help them keep on top of the AFC East division.

Jacksonville Jaguars 13 – St. Louis Rams 23
Two teams that are literally fighting for respect in the NFL, but the struggles remain the same dismal at best. It has been a most disappointing start of the season for the St. Louis Rams, and their fantasy stock is no longer valid at this point in time.

New England Patriots 31 – Cincinnati Bengals 18
The Patriots may have lost big Vince Wolford to a foot injury, but Tom Brady and his wide receiver young corp. are coming into their own. The Patriots defense is improving within each and every game they play, in addition to this means nothing but big trouble for the Bengals QB.

Seattle Seahawks 28 – Indianapolis Colts 31
Russell Wilson faces a Indy defense that game day mission is pass rush all day. Andrew Luck has similar QB skills like Russell Wilson, and he will need all of his sophomore skills to pull off a victory against a stingy Seattle D.

Carolina Panthers 24 – Arizona Cardinals 23
The Panthers are coming off a much needed rest from the bye-week, and Cam Newton will have the edge in a game the Panthers need en route to get back at 500.

Denver Broncos 41 – Dallas Cowboys 28
Too much drama in close games has kept the Cowboys at a stale 500 in the NFC East division. The Broncos are slowly but surely becoming the next greatest show on turf. Peyton Manning’s field generalship will be too much for the Dallas D to handle.

Houston Texans 22 – San Francisco 49ers 28
The 49ers overcame a disappointing loss in week 2 and 3, but would later overcome those key losses by going on to beat down the St. Louis Rams in week 4. Colin Kaepernick is taking his lumps along the way, and fantasy players will keep him a favorite in this week 5 matchup.

San Diego Chargers 31 – Oakland Raiders 19
The woeful raiders D will give Phillip Rivers the opportunity to have a pass happy air attack – despite throwing 2 costly interceptions.

New York Jets 28 – Atlanta Falcons 31

The Jets D will rise to the occasion and keep the game very close, but Gino Smith 2 rookie interceptions will be in favor of an Atlanta Falcons much needed win. Fantasy players put down Gino Smith this week and rise up Matt Ryan on their 3rd tier level.

A magnificent game for Tony Romo through 3 quarters turned into an early Halloween nightmare - as the Dallas QB threw a costly interception in the 4th quarter. The talk of the town in Dallas will continue about Tony Romo's very bad 4th quarter judgment on losing big games. With one minute and 49 seconds left in the game, and no time outs gave Peyton Manning the opportunity to run down the clock, and with 2 seconds remaining, Matt Prater kicked a game winning field goal. It was a painful loss for the Dallas Cowboys, and the 51 - 48 loss to the Broncos is a game that Tony Romo would rather not remember.

NFL Week 5 Fantasy Players Drop List: Chicken Dinner Losers

Week 5 will prove to be a recycling time for the Minnesota Vikings and the Washington Redskins. Both teams have come off week 4 wins, but both teams are still struggling to make it on the way to 500. It has been a most disappointing start of the 2013 NFL season for a declining Steelers team, and even looks more grim for the Buccaneers – which are on pace to have the worst losing record ever.

The players listed in this fantasy list for week 5 will not be the top money earners, and it may be time for fantasy players to adjust their ranking list accordingly.

QB Drop List:                                      Running Back Drop List:
1 Mathew Stafford                                 1 Reggie Bush
2 Matt Schaub                                        2 Darren Sproles
3 Jay Cutler                                            3 Ray Rice
4 Cam Newton                                       4 Knowshon Moreno
5 Tony Romo                                         5 Eddie Lacy

Top 5 Wide Receivers Drop List: Calvin Johnson, Dez Bryant, Victor Cruz, DeSean Jackson, Andre Johnson.

Top 5 Tight End Drop List: Charles Clay, Brandon Myers, Jared Cook, Greg Olson, Kellen Winslow.

The compilation of this week 5 fantasy list is designed by my personal view - resting on how these players may perform in comparison to their top-notch counterparts.
