NFL Week 8 NFC South Power Rankings: Which Team will be “Top Gun” or a Flight Risk?

The Saints come off a bye-week and are ready to regain their dominance in the NFC Southern Division. A struggling Buffalo team on offense equals to a big plus for the rough and tough Saints defense. The Buffalo Bills defense has had their share of problems with costly penalties that has kept their team in limbo.

Drew Brees is having another Pro Bowl year and he is right on the heels of Peyton Manning in the yardage category.

Will Drew Brees make it a “Top Gun” game and make the Buffalo Bills be deemed a flight risk on their trip back home?

Cam Newton has taken giant steps in his quarterback decision making during the past three weeks, and his ability to read the field more precisely helped the Panthers get back to 500 in their week 7 win over a struggling Rams team.

Are the Carolina Panthers capable of becoming a “Top Gun” juggernaut in week 8?

Tony Gonzalez may perhaps have second thoughts on his decision to return to the Falcons lineup in 2013 due to their unflattering 2-4 record. It has been a disappointing and dismal 2013 season so far - for a Falcons team that has been a flight risk on all levels of their game.

Is it possible that the Atlanta Falcons veteran leadership on both sides of the ball can possibly help turn around their dismal 2013 NFL campaign?

Basically, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers are not playing good football. This was supposed to be the year that the Buccaneers were touted as having a winning season, but their prediction has turned sour and their 2013 season is “Sittin’ on the Dock of the Bay.”
